Does Calories Matters When we Eat?

We often check for calorie intake for weight loss & recipes while consulting Dietitian.
For example;
Cow milk & buffalo milk:
  • Cow milk Buffalo milk
  • Amount 100 ml 57 ml
  • Calories 67 kcal 67 kcal
  • Carbohydrates 4.4 gm 3 gm
  • Protein 3.2 gm 3.8 gm
  • Fat 4.1gm 2.5 gm
  • Calcium 120 mg 120 mg

Butter & Cheese:
  • Butter Cheese
  • Amount 43.5 Gm 100 gm
  • Calories 314 kcal 314 kcal
  • Carbohydrates 0 gm 6 gm
  • Protein 0.2 gms 20 gms
  • Fat 34.5 gms 26 gms
  • Calcium 0 mg 343 mg

The calories served by the each products equal but the amount differs along with other nutritive values.

Cheese will be better option over Butter as cheese has higher protein & low fat & high calcium which will give you more benefits.

One common question is asked by my client is,  If I work out regularly then how does it matters what I eat or If I consume a specific numbers of calories , I will still lose weight . Well it is true the physical activities will help you to burn down the calories but at the same time what composes your body is far more important . Same calories but lesser , unhealthy nutrition will lead to deficiencies, weakness, lethargy, metabolic syndrome leading to difficulty into losing weight & fat , dull complexion, hair fall , indigestion, gastric upset etc...

The best option is that we eat HEALTHY not only to avoid gaining excess fat but also to stay happy & deliver a constant performance in everything we pursue. Don't stop unhealthy foods completely but to spoil yourself once in a while & tickle your senses.

The NATURE has a lot to provide, it is up to you what you wish to choose & when.
