Best time to eat


  • One natural treatment for acidity is chewing a few Basil (Tulsi) leaves after a meal. This not only works as an antacid as it helps the body absorb food but also prevent reflux and formation of ulcers.

  • Sucking piece of clove after meal helps in reducing acidity problem.

  • A clove of garlic swallowed with water taken empty stomach daily in the morning can be helpful in solving many stomach and gastric problems.

  • Headache caused by summer heat is cured by watermelon

  • Eating an Apple on an empty stomach in the morning relieves one of the migraine pain. This must be done for a few morning.

  • Mixture of 2 tea spoon of honey with equal quantity of ginger juice helps to expectorate mucus, providing relief for the common cold, coughs and sore throat.

  • If you are suffering from chronic constipation eat ½ cup of beet before breakfast.

  • Cough remedy; open dates like 3 and boil in 250 liters of milk for 20 minutes on slow flame, drink two time a day.

  • Unani cough syrup; peel and chop 6 medium onions, add 4 table spoon of pure honey. Let it stand for few hours. Strain and take 1 table spoon every 3 hours.

  • Apply grated cucumber over face, eyes and neck for fifteen minutes, very well for acne and blackheads.

  • Hangover; A banana milkshake with honey gives immense relief. Cold milk soothes the stomach lining and banana with honey build up depleted blood sugar levels.

  • Daily intake of lemon juice/lemon peel water helps to detoxify liver, keeps stomach healthy, acts as a cure for nausea, heartburn, indigestion, high blood pressure, stress and depression.

  • Gas and bloating; add a few fennel seeds in a hot pot of water, boil it on a slow flame, strain it drink. Take a mixture of fennel cardamom and mint leaves and boil in water to make a concoction and drink after straining.

  • Ear infection; a drop of garlic juice into your ears helps to relieve the pain of the ear infection.

  • Sore throat; mix ½ cup of warm water with ½ tea spoon salt and ½ tea spoon turmeric. Gargle with it. After gargling, don’t drink or eat anything for at least ½ an hour. Repeat this as often as you can.

  • Dark circles; take 1 or 2 tomatoes, add 1 table spoon of lemon juice, a pinch of gram flour and turmeric powder. Blend these to get a thick paste and apply very gently around your eyes. Remove with water after 10-20 minutes. Repeat twice or thrice every week will make your skin tone around your eyes lighter and dark circles will go away.

  • Have a pomegranate daily is good for heart and low blood pressure.
