  • Suran regulates bowel movements & prevents constipation & improves metabolism due to the presence of carbs & fiber , so very effective in piles & fissure.
  • Take 1 small cup of cabbage juice to relieve from acidity, burning in chest.
  • Headache due to indigestion : Take 1/2 lemon, sprinkle 2 pinch of cumin seed powder ( jeera ) , black pepper & black salt ( sanchal ).Keep the lemon on tong( pakad ) & keep on flame in a such a way that flame touches the skin of lemon . You will see bubbles will appear . Remove the lemon from the flame& squeeze it carefully in a cup . Add 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix well & drink. You can do this 1/2 hr before meal. To eliminate indigestion completely do it twice a week.
  • Energy drink for Calcium: Roast 2 Tsp of white sesame seeds ( til ) , cool & soak in water for an hour. Drain the water & make paste with jaggery & dry fruits. Add 1 cup of water & stir it well & drink ( avoid cashew & pista in case of high cholesterol.)
  • Wound Healing : Take a piece of Aloe vera, remove its edges & grate it & apply on the wound. Also you can blend together Aloe vera & little turmeric using water & drink it.
  • Summer drink : Soak 1 teaspoon Takmaria ( sabja ) in a glass of water overnight. Next day add 1 Teaspoon lemon juice. Mix well & drink . Don't add milk or sugar.
  • Eating within half an hour of getting up in the morning prevents one from binge eating & eating sensibly. It also helps the body to up the already high metabolism thus helping in healthy fat loss.
  • Acidity : Take 1/2 cup ( 100 Ml ) of raw potato juice in morning before breakfast.
  • Sit When You Eat: While you are standing & eating, the stomach 's shape makes you eat more to feel full. On the other hand, the shape of the stomach , while you sit ensures that you are eating less.
  • Don't skip Breakfast to lose weight. Skipping breakfast can actually make weight control more difficult. Breakfast skippers tend to more food later on than usual at the next meal or nibble high calorie snacks later on the day, to starve off the hunger.
