Pasta with Tomato Sauce Recipe

Every tomato-based pasta sauce recipe you could want. This recipe was easy and delicious! I could make it every day. Strongly recommended to beginner chefs who want to test their skills. This recipe requires the basic skills needed in any kitchen.
Pasta with Tomato Sauce

3 cups pasta.
6-8 large tomatoes.
1 medium onion.
Salt and pepper to taste.
1 tsp olive, canola or sunflower oil,
(Optional) ¼ tsp. basil.
1 tsp. butter.
½ cup grated Cheddar cheese (for stronger flavor use Parmesan cheese).

Bring a pot of water to boil. Drop whole already washed tomatoes into boiling water. Drain water after 5-10 seconds. Handle tomatoes carefully and remove the tomato skins.
Dice onion and tomatoes. Heat the oil in a saucepan and saute the onion until soft. Add the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for about 25-30 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and then cook the pasta just until all dente. Drain the pasta, Pour it into a colander and run under a tap of cold water.
Melt 1 tsp. of butter in a pot and add (optional) basil. Return the pasta to the pot, tossing and coating with the butter. Remove from heat. Using a spoon, pour tomato sauce over plated pasta and toss with Cheddar/Parmesan Cheese.
Serve immediately!
