Split pea and carrot soup recipe

 Ingredients:

☛ 2 cups of dried green split pea (washed)
☛ 2 cloves of minced garlic
☛ 1 small Onion chopped
☛ 1 big Carrot (or if you prefer you could use ¹/₃ of sweet potato)
☛ 1 tablespoon Consume
☛ ¹/₂ tsp Turmeric
☛ ¹/₂ tsp Sweet paprika
☛ Salt and pep

Method:

Sauté onions in a pot, then add garlic and peas. Add seasoning and water. Boil on med/high for about 1 ¹/₂ hour. Then remove from heat. Blend with a hand blender until smooth. Boil for another ¹/₂ hour on low. If needed add boiling water.

Tips: great alone or with shredded cheese and chives on top
