Fresh Salsa Recipe

Makes 6 servings.  ½ cup per serving.
Prep time: 20 minutes


1 pound ripe tomatoes (about 2 medium tomatoes), chopped
1½ cups chopped onion
1⁄3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
3 jalapeño peppers, seeds removed and chopped
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped ¼ teaspoon salt


Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl.
Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
