Making of mango ice cream is so simple only 3 main ingredients are required mangoes, sugar or honey and whipped cream, you can skip the 4th ingredient vanilla powder if you don’t want to add the main part is whip the cream really well. This delicious mango homemade ice cream recipe is without the use of ice cream maker. 

Mango ice cream

Here’s an easy recipe for soft, creamy and flavorful mango ice cream.


➜500ml to 562ml heavy whipping cream
➜2 large mangoes or other mangoes
➜¹/₂ tsp vanilla powder or vanilla extract
➜¹/₃ to ¹/₂ cup sugar or powdered jaggery or honey add as required
➜For topping chocolate syrup, honey or fresh mango pieces as per your choice


Peel and chop the mangoes. Then blend the mangoes, vanilla extract and sugar to a smooth pulp. Whip the cream till soft peaks are formed. Then add the mango pulp into whip cream and mix well. Check the sweetness and add more sugar if required.

Pour into a container and place in the freezer. Cover the container. When the ice cream is half frozen, remove it from the freezer and whip it again for a minute. Pour the ice cream contents again in the container with a lid, let it freeze until set.

Scoop the mango ice cream and serve with honey, cakes, chocolate syrup, fresh mangoes, sweet syrup or just plain.
