A single serving of Great Value brand banana chips from Walmart contains 10 grams of fat (including 7 grams of saturated fat), though bananas on their own are virtually fat-free. Fortunately, you can easily cut the fat by making your own banana chips at home.

Baked Banana Chips Recipe

All you need is:

➔Lemon juice
➔Vegetable Oil


➧Slice bananas very thin (1/8″), brush with lemon juice mixed with just a little water and a little vegetable oil. Sprinkle with salt.

➧Bake at 120°C for about 1 ¹/₂ – 2 hours, flipping them over around halfway through until they are crispy.

➧Let cool (the longer they cool the crispier they become).
